Wristcutters: A Love Story (2006)

Now, how may I describe that film? Wristcutters is like … bolero of Maurice Ravel: it starts with a low intensity, soft tune and as time passes by, it builds in meaning and intensity. Although sad at the beginning, an air of decadence from start to end, it has a hidden optimism about people and life. Especially at the end 🙂 The music by Gogol Bordello ties up so nicely with the verses of “Through the Roof ‘n’ Underground” and the film…It is as if looking at first at a painting, and you like it but you do not understand why.. but after looking it for some time, you like it even better because things fall into place 🙂

Do not miss it
